A programmed RFID coin runs an ordered queue of actions after you confirm on the phone. Family Care, from 2.7.2. See How do I use RFID coins?
Actions
- Mark medication as taken: completes a Today or Care course slot. Needs at least a family member, medication, or routine. If nothing is due, the app says so. It does not invent an as-needed row.
- Add medication dose: logs an as-needed (PRN) dose. Member and medication can wait until tap time. A member is required before it writes.
- Trigger quick timer: starts a saved Family Care preset. The member is already on that preset, so the coin does not ask who. Staggered presets always open review. Other queued actions still run first.
- Mark all overdue routines as taken: every overdue routine for today, for one person or the whole household (Everyone if you leave the member blank). Skips waiting “after another medication” routines. Does not include doses that are only due soon.
- Show medication details: read-only name, usual dose, wait times, and notes in large type, with Log dose and Mark routine taken when a slot is due.
You can queue up to eight actions on one coin. A common pair is add an as-needed dose, then start a quick timer.
Leave who or which medicine as Ask when tapped if you want to choose at the pack.
What coins cannot do
Coins do not skip, snooze, mute, end travel, mark running low, or give dosing advice. They are not swallow verification. They are not a smart-home hub.
