Tempy, made by Eodin, is built specifically around one thing: tracking a child's fever and the safe timing of paracetamol and ibuprofen doses, with a color-coded temperature view and a co-parent sync feature so both parents see the same picture.
The main difference between the two apps is scope. Tempy is a dedicated fever-and-dosing tool for a single illness episode. Medication Timer covers that same ground, plus scheduled routines, variable doses, a wider set of health readings, and a whole family rather than one child and two parents.

1. Coverage beyond one fever episode. Tempy is built around one job. Once the fever passes, or once you're also managing a parent's blood pressure medication or a child's daily antibiotic course, Tempy's scope runs out. Medication Timer handles the acute illness and the ongoing routines in the same place.
2. More than two caregivers, more than one child. Tempy's sync model is built around two parents and, from the public listing, one child. Medication Timer supports any number of family members and caregivers, useful for grandparents helping out, multiple sick kids at once, or elderly parents in the mix.
