Links to launch.medicationtimer.com can open directly in the Medication Timer app when it is installed on your phone or tablet, instead of staying in the browser.
Examples include links to:
- Today — a specific day or family member
- Care — an active session, add a timer, or log a temperature
- Family, Medications, or Profile
- Invite, shared report, or subscription flows
- Settings screens such as notifications or display preferences
This works through Universal Links on iOS and App Links on Android. You must be signed in to the same account for household data to load.
Testing tip: Universal Links open the app when you tap a link in another app (Notes, Messages, Mail). Typing or pasting a URL into Safari’s address bar will not open the app — that is normal iOS behavior.
Shared reports and invites
- Shared report links can open in the browser without signing in when you have the correct report ID and share code. See How do I open reports or shared links?
- Invite links open the app (or web) so you can accept household sharing.
Notifications and email
Dose reminders and other alerts may use the same URL patterns when you tap Open, so you land on the right screen in the app.
If a link opens in Safari or Chrome instead of the app, check that Medication Timer is installed and that you updated to a recent version. On Android, App Links verification requires a current app build from the store or your install source.
