Where do I set routine times?

Routine scheduling is managed in the family area when you edit a member and work with their medication routines. Pick the medication and the schedule that match your care plan, then save.

Schedule modes:

  • At a time: Daily (default), Weekly, Monthly, Hourly, or Custom (every N days/weeks/months, or every X hours such as 4 / 6 / 8 / 12). Monthly and Custom include a First due date so you can set the schedule up before that day. The schedule counts forward from First due. End-of-month dates clamp to the last day of shorter months when needed.
  • Quick setup (Family Care): Twice daily or Three times daily creates separate daily routines at meal times in one tap. Review the pending slots, then save. You can clear Quick setup and use a single schedule instead. On the free plan, add each daily slot manually.
  • After another medication: an offset after another routine for the same member is logged (not after its scheduled clock time). Until the anchor is taken, Today shows the dependent as waiting. See How do I set a routine after another medication?

If you log a weekly, monthly, or custom-interval dose a little early, the app may ask whether to count it as due for the upcoming slot or keep the original due day. The same early-log prompt can appear for matching health reading cadences. There is no separate setting for this. See What happens if I log a dose or reading early?

On the free plan, the number of routines per member (together with enabled health readings) is capped. See Subscription: free plan limits.

Exact labels may say routine, schedule, or similar depending on the screen. For a fuller walkthrough with examples, see the how-to guide on medication routines on medicationtimer.com.
