Dose routines can fire at a fixed clock time or a set duration after another routine for the same member is logged. Choose After another medication when adding or editing a routine under Family.
Steps
- Open the member under Family and add or edit a medication routine.
- Choose schedule mode After another medication (instead of At a time).
- Select an anchor routine for the same member and enter the offset (for example, 30 minutes after).
- Save.
Until the anchor dose is logged, Today shows the dependent as waiting rather than due at a fixed time. Logging the anchor creates a shared stagger follow-up for the dependent medicine, measured from the real logged time (not the scheduled clock time). If the anchor is skipped or never logged for that occurrence, no follow-up is created.
Dependencies stay on the same member. A routine that is already relative cannot anchor another relative routine.
This is separate from Also stagger another medication on as-needed timers (for example spacing two fever liquids). For that flow, see How do I stagger another medication?
On the free plan, routine slots (together with enabled health readings) are capped—see Subscription — free plan limits. See also Where do I set routine times?
