How do I mark a medicine as running low?

Flag a medicine when the bottle looks light so you remember to pick more up. Medication Timer does not track stock counts, pack sizes, or days of supply.

Mark running low from:

  • Swipe Low on a Today or Care dose row (or on an as-needed timer row)
  • The Running low toggle when adding or editing a medicine or timer
  • On mobile with Family Care, To pick up → Add other medications

While flagged, you see a Running low cue on timers and medication cards. Any caregiver who shares the household can clear the flag when they buy more (tap the cue, or clear it from the medicine / To pick up flow).

Free vs Family Care

  • Free: mark and clear running low on web and mobile.
  • Family Care (mobile): shared To pick up shopping list and a daily buy reminder digest until someone clears the list. See What are medication buy reminders?
