Body metrics tracks weight, height, and BMI over time for any family member. It is included with Family Care (and sponsored accounts with the same entitlement).
Where to log readings
- Family — open a member card and tap Body metrics, or add weight and height under Health readings.
- Today — tap the scale icon beside Readings to reveal weight, height, and BMI rows when a measurement is due from a reminder or already logged (or skipped) on the day you are viewing.
Empty body-metric rows do not appear on Today unless you expand Readings or the type is scheduled or already recorded that day.
Charts and BMI
Open Body metrics from the family member card for trend charts.
- Adults see BMI with standard healthy-range bands when weight and height can be paired on the same day (or height within 90 days). Adult BMI does not use pediatric percentile curves.
- Children — for growth percentiles (WHO/CDC), use Growth & Development instead. See How do I track child growth and development?
Family reports
Weight, height, and BMI logged in the report period appear in family reports when you subscribe to Family Care.
Charts and BMI bands are informational only — not medical advice. Discuss trends with your clinician.
